Widely believed to be the Root Chakra of the earth, Mount Shasta has been a worldwide focal point for Angels, Spirit Guides, UFOs, ETs, Bigfoot, and Ascended Masters.

The energy of Shasta, as the first chakra, is like a geyser - a great uprush of life energy/chi/prana, without shape or structure. For those gifted with clairvoyant abilities, Mount Shasta is embraced in a gigantic, etheric purple pyramid whose capstone reaches far beyond this planet into space, and connects us intergalactically to the Confederation of Planets for this sector of the Milky Way Galaxy. This awesome pyramid is also created as an inverted version of itself, reaching far down to the very core of the Earth.

Mt. Shasta was a corner territorial boundary for four Native American peoples - the Shasta, Modoc, Ajumawi/Atsuwegi, and Wintu - Each year, the Wintu invoke the mountain's spirit with ritual dances that ensure the continued flow of the sacred springs.

There's a lot of legend and mysticism surrounding Mount Shasta. The first inhabitants recorded date back as far as 7,000 years ago but it is thought to be inhabited long before that. Many believe this area to be part of old Lemuria, which is an ancient civilization older than Atlantis that was filled with superior human-like people that still live within the mountain in a series of elaborate caves. When Lemuria was on the verge of collapse, it is said that the elders petitioned inner Earth civilizations to help create a city underground for the inhabitants and Mt Shasta is one of the entrances. These Lemurians are believed to be so spiritually advanced that they can willingly manifest as matter or spirit. There have been alleged sightings of these Lemurian people still around the mountain range today.

JC Brown

According to legend, JC Brown was British prospector who discovered a lost underground city beneath Mt. Shasta in 1904. Brown had been hired by The Lord Cowdray Mining Company of England to prospect for gold, and discovered a cave which sloped downward for 11 miles. In the cave, he found an underground village filled with gold, shields, and mummies, some being up to 10 feet tall.

Thirty years later, he told his story to John C. Root who proceeded to gather an exploration team in. 80 people joined the team, but on the day the team was to set out, Brown did not show up. Brown was not heard from again. Was he a liar? Or did something else happen to him? His real name was in fact John Benjamin Body and he said before that he changed his name because he was getting threats on his and his family's life for the stories that he was telling. This is a picture of JC Brown.

The Lemuria-Mount Shasta legend has developed into one of Mount Shasta's most prominent. In 1930, Guy Ballard, founder of the "I AM" movement, reported that he met the Ascended Master Saint Germain on the slopes of Mt. Shasta while hiking. The members of this group, who now number over twelve million, are widely scattered. The membership consists of people from every state in the Union as well as people in Europe and large memberships in New Zealand, Australia, Switzerland, Scotland and South Africa.

He later wrote about his encounters with St. Germain in his books, "Unveiled Mysteries" written under his pen name Godfre Ray King. The origin of the nom de plume "Godfre Ray King" was derived according to Mrs. G. W. Ballard as follows: "The God Free Ray is King, which means, the flame of God's own heart, which we know as the Great Central Sun, which is the Great Sun behind our Physical Sun." You can find that book series by clicking on this image.

Ascended Masters are spiritually advanced beings that manifest and assist human evolution. A more common name for them are "Saints". However, not all saints are ascended masters.

We have traveled to Mt. Shasta many times now and always have a uniquely magical experience. We helped put together a workshop there for 11-11-11 and we sat atop the mountain for the Venus transit across the sun in 2012. We also like to go there to just visit the portals and soak in the energy. The town's culture is a conscious one and it is always a joy to stay there.

Here is a picture of the waterfall portal that leads to an energetic pathway underground. Levels of consciousness have been known to hang around this area and move in and out of it. This area as a whole posesses extremely strong fairy energy and if ones perception is developed enough, i'm sure you will experience one. this place is only accessible during the warmer months of the year like April, May, June, July, and August.

The best time of the year to go is of course in the summer because the more snow that is melted, the more portals you can venture to. Below is a picture of what a portal halfway up the mountain looked like on 11-11-11. If you look really hard you can see Yesenia waaay in the back there. This is a large circle of trees that contains an energetic portal to Telos located on one of the flats. it was barely accesible in November and I was told that the road to get to it was closed down the wee after we left.

Now here is a picture of us inside the same portal in the month of September. As you can see the difference is huge in terms of weather. So again, travel to Mt Shasta in the warmer months. The picture on the right is of a bird that decided to come in for a piece of granola right off my hand.

Not all of the energy portals are found on the mountain. Some are actually located near the base. If you have a proper guide, you can find any and all of them. Located on the southern end of the Cascade Range, Mt Shasta is geographically unusual because it literally stands alone. As in it isn't connected to any nearby mountain range. It's located at 41° 18'52" North, 122° 18'41" West (41.314542, -122.311510) along Interstate 5 south of Weed and north of Dunsmuir, California.
